Las figuras.

One of the main themes that help the children to increase their vocabulary in Spanish is to talk about shapes. Because gives the chance to start relating them with previous concepts like colors and counting and start creating short sentences to describe.

 

This time beside the use of some Montessori material the children worked with other manipulative elements to reinforce their hand eye coordination with a little bit of games and activities to improve their visual memory.

 

This is the new vocabulary:

–            Circulo – Triangulo – Cuadrado – Rectangulo – Ovalo – Rombo  – Estrella – Corazón

 

And as usual because we like to have fun this is the new song we use in the class:
